HARTWELL ELEMENTARY 3RD GRADERS VISIT THE HART COUNTY BOTANICAL GARDEN
On Wednesday May 6th the Northeast Georgia Master Gardeners hosted the 3rd grade classes from Hartwell Elementary at the Hart County Botanical Garden. It was a wonderful day for all involved. The children got to see baby birds in their nests, learned about the stories a tree's rings can tell about its life, learned how to identify trees by their leaves, searched for soil critters and visited our bog garden . We hope to continue to host other childrens' groups in the future.
